Services

Everything is quoted per piece. Bring the work in and we will measure, talk options, and give you a written estimate before anything is cut.

Custom framing

Mouldings cut, joined, and finished to your measurements. Hundreds of profiles across wood and metal, matched to the work and the wall.

Archival mat & mount

Acid-free, lignin-free mats and backing. Photographs and works on paper are hinged with reversible materials so nothing is damaged.

Conservation glazing

UV-filtering acrylic and museum glass to reduce fading and glare on pieces that get a lot of light.

Canvas stretching

Loose canvases and needlework stretched square on solid bars, ready to hang or to sit inside a float frame.

Object & shadow boxes

Depth framing for medals, textiles, and keepsakes, mounted so they sit securely without adhesive on the object.

Frame restoration

Repair and refinishing of older frames — corner rejoining, gilding touch-up, and new glazing where needed.

How a job runs

Most framing is ready in one to two weeks depending on materials. Larger or restoration work takes longer, and we will tell you up front.

  1. Bring the piece in and we measure it together.
  2. Choose moulding, mat, and glazing from samples on the bench.
  3. We give a written quote; work begins once it is approved.
  4. You collect the finished piece, fitted and ready to hang.
